Our Mission
To get people interested in spoon carving up and running, and to connect the scattered carvers out there with other Spoon People. Of course we are also here to connect spoon lovers with spoon makers! We are focused on the San Francisco Bay Area, keeping it local, but welcome all who hear the Call of the Spoon!
Our Story
How did we get here?!
Mike Bray started this site after decades of quietly carving spoons, alone, thinking he might be the only one still doing it Old School. Then he discovered, one at a time, other spoon carvers! It turns out there are many spoon carvers, even several instructors and classes. So he decided to set this up, as a central greeting spot. There is also a Facebook page in the works, and Instagram, because, yeah, how could there not be.
